And so the camping season begins...
Hello from Abbot Park,
We've had a lovely weekend here this Easter. It's been great to see the camping field full of campers once again. Considering we had snow at the start of last week the weather has certainly picked up and we have been enjoying glorious sunshine for the last few days.
The sheep have now almost finished lambing and the fields are full of beautiful lambs. The swallows have also returned, a sure sign that summer is on it's way.
We are looking forward to welcoming more new campers over the season.
See you soon,
Carole

We are back...
Hello everyone, sorry for the delay in posting!
It's been a hectic time up here at Abbot Park. The winter has just flown by!
We are busy preparing for the new season which is ahead of us and seem to have plenty of visitors coming to stay for the Easter holidays.
Christmas was lovely, we had a very merry time and enjoyed lots of good food and plenty of mulled wine round the fire.
The cows are getting heavy in calf so we now have a busy month or so ahead. Then we have the sheep to lamb towards the end of next month! Never a dull moment.
We will post some photos when we can get them to upload.
Take care and goodbye for now...
Carole

Summer is here!
Hello,
We've had a busy few months here at Abbot Park Farm and have been pleased to welcome both new and returning campers this summer so far.
The weather has certainly been on our side but not even the rain has dampened our campers spirits!
Enjoy browsing our new photos.
Bye Bye for now,
I'd better go and put some scones in the oven for our visitors.

New Arrivals...
Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all well!
Just thought i'd share a few photos of our new arrivals to Abbot Park Farm! Our first little triplet lambs. It certainly is a sign spring is on it's way...
We've been taking lots of bookings for our campsite and are looking forward to the better weather now and the arrival of our first campers.
Bye for now,
Carole

Hope you all had a lovely christmas!
Merry Christmas!
It's been a busy christmas here at Abbot Park Farm fuelled by copious amounts of mulled wine and far too much lovely food!
It's very wintery up here now and the wild winds blew down our phone line the other week so we haven't had internet for a while!
We hope that you've all had a festive time and are looking forward to new years eve.
We had better go and get on now, it's no good sitting here eating parsnips crisps! We have got over 25 mountain bikers coming for their christmas meal here tomorrow so we have lots of food to prepare!
Enjoy our photos,
Bye for now,

Dear Guests
I think summer as arrived. The sun is out and the birds are singing it is a good weather forcast for the next few days,so I am going to enjoy it. Jeff the sheep dog has been in the wars he has got a broken leg , after an operation to put a pin in and plate, it he seems to be getting back to his old self. The cows have all had there calves now and at last we have turned the cows out into the fields. If any guests read this blog that have visited maybe you could add some photos . I think I will get a cup of coffee, and go and sit in the sun, and may be take a book to read, it is to nice to work or should I go and mow the campsite grass, is any body coming camping this weekend ?
bye for now
